Special Note: April 1, 2002 was the deadline for having all vertical propane tanks less than 41 pounds converted to OPD valves.

Traveling for an extended period can be a challenge.  Especially if your entourage includes an Irish Wolfhound which will weigh over 130 pounds when grown.

Airstream has a long reputation for being a durable coach for extended use.  The 34' Excella is the longest trailer made by Airstream.  While the extra length provides the interior space needed for a growing family, it does prohibit the use of some State and National Parks which are not set up to accommodate large RV's.  The trailer has triple axles to support the weight of the large coach.  The aircraft grade aluminum shell is strong yet flexible, important when the road surface changes from interstate highway to dirt road.

The following pages give information on Airstreams and the modifications we made to accommodate our lifestyle.
