Steve Bare hosted the 2019 NewellGurus Rally from May 1-May 8, 2019 at the beautiful Bella Terra RV Resort in Foley, AL. Multiple seminars were conducted during the week including two on the Newell Air Systems. Richard Entrekin gave a presentation on the fundamentals of the air systems that Newell uses and has used for the past 30+ years. Steve Bare gave a presentation on the systemic procedure he has used on his coach to reduce the air loss to the point of the 12 volt and 120 volt air pumps on having to come on 1-2 times in a 24 hour period due to system losses. Steve Bare also gave a demonstration of how he cleans, polishes and waxes his coach. Michael Day gave a presentation on the history of Newell and the changes through the years.
Social gatherings most nights, pot luck dinners, Richard’s great Cinco de Mayo celebration, an opportunity for the ladies to play many hours of cards in the club house, a trip to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team practice and the opportunity for many owners to get issues resolved on their coaches through the assistance of other owners.
About 25 coaches attended the rally and the weather was terrific although rain did move into the area on the afternoon of May 9.
